    EARLY YEARS CARE

    (0-3 years) 


    Our Early Years Care is a great place for infants, toddlers and preschoolers up to age 3. We have loving workers who will care for your little ones and make them feel safe and secure. We believe that children can learn about Jesus at an early age, so we include Biblical teaching. Children will see the love of Christ gently modelled through our workers who care for their needs in a fun environment in which they play and learn. 

     

    Our well-equipped Nursery (0-2 years) and Preschool rooms (2-3 years) are found on the lower level of the church. Our rooms open 15 minutes prior to the service. Families are encouraged to enter through the ramp entrance at the back of the church, where they will be greeted at the check-in kiosk.  A paging system is used to contact parents in the worship service, if needed.



  • Children's Church

    ELEMENTARY CLASSES

    (JK - GR 5)


    Our Children’s Church is geared for kids in JK to Grade 5. Our dynamic teachers present Biblical Truths, engaging with God’s word through song, activities and crafts. Using the Gospel Project, a chronological Christ-centred curriculum, we pray that the children will come to know and love Jesus, building a strong foundation of faith that will last a lifetime. 

     

    Our elementary classes as found on the lower level of the church. Sign in your children at a one of our check-in kiosks on the upper and lower levels. Children begin their morning by accompanying their parents in the morning Worship Service. Mid-way through the service, your children are dismissed to the lower level to a classroom for their own age-appropriate teaching time.. Pick up will be at their designated classrooms. 


    Families who wish to keep their children in the service are welcome to do so.

  • MAKK (Maple Avenue Kids Klub)

    Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

    (Sept - April)


    MAKK is an exciting time for kids (JK to grade 5) to learn, grow and have fun at the same time!


    Opening Session...  a fun start to the evening with icebreaker games and singing.

    Game Time... a high energy time of individual and team competition unleashing kids' natural energy and enthusiasm!

    Skill Time... working together to learn and develop new skills.

    Bible Time... an engaging time of Bible-based teaching based on our theme of the night.


    COST: $45/child; $80/family

  • Giggles Playgroup

    This is a ministry for moms of preschool-aged children. It’s based around a playgroup that meets every Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am (September to June). It’s a warm, welcoming and safe environment geared toward community moms. The Giggles ministry also hosts fun events, Book Clubs (which explain Jesus Christ and the Bible), and Bible Studies – all of which are geared toward moms in the community. In addition, the church moms gather monthly for a time of focused prayer and planning.
